Starting of career:
He was born in Dubbo, where he firstly introduces himself as a cricketer by his new deliveries and potentials caught by Doug Walters.
He went to Sydney to grading game for Sutherland and made his first debut New South Wales(NSW) during 1992-1993.

Glenn McGrath show his rapid potential in the next Australian summer with selection in the test team after only first 8 classes of matches

Glenn McGrath’s wife Jane Louise was born in UK and had employed as flight attendant.Before their marriage McGrath and Jane was first introduces at Hong Kong club.

They married in 2001.They had 2 children, James and Holly.Besides this Jane had a disease called breast cancer.

She battle with this but treated first in 2001.But died in 22 June,2008 at the age 42 due to breast cancer.
